JumpStart # 24– Delete an Azure VM using Azure PowerShell Cmdlets

In this jumpstart we are going to see how to delete an existing VM from Azure Cloud using Azure PowerShell Cmdlets.

I would recommend to read this post prior on how to create VM using Azure Cmdlets – http://www.intstrings.com/ramivemula/articles/jumpstart-23-create-azure-vm-using-azure-powershell-cmdlets/

Step 1 – Create a windows Server 2012 R2 VM as shown in above tutorial.

Step 2 – To remove an Azure VM, use the below command.

Step 3 – Remove Service associated with that VM.

Step 4 – Remove Associated Disk of the VM.

Step 5 – Remove Associate VM Blob Image from the storage account.

Happy Coding!!!
