In this Jumpstart, we are going to see how to stop/start/restart an Azure VM using Azure PowerShell cmdlets.

Step 1 – Create a windows Server 2012 R2 VM as shown in above tutorial.
As it says, if we stop the last VM of the cloud service, then the deployment IP will be changed. So beware of this fact and use –StayProvisioned effectively.
